Safe Transport for Vintage Cars
Classic car towing is the transport of older vehicles that need extra care. Old paint chips easily. Chrome bumpers bend. Original parts are hard to find. Many classics do not run, and some have no brakes or a locked steering wheel. We plan every classic tow around those risks.
Each classic rides on a Flatbed Towing truck. We use soft straps over the tires, wheel chocks and padding where the car could touch the deck.

When You Need a Classic Car Tow
- You bought a project car that does not run
- Your classic is going to a restoration or paint shop
- You are taking a car to a show, auction or museum
- The car broke down on a weekend cruise
- The car has been stored for years and has flat tires
Classic Cars We Tow
We tow pre-war cars, 1950s cruisers, 1960s and 1970s muscle cars, vintage trucks, classic Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Chevelles, Mopar classics, VW Beetles and air-cooled Porsches. We also move restomods and kit cars.
Related Services
Out of town auctions and shows call for Long Distance Towing. Newer high-end cars fit our Exotic Towing service. Vintage bikes ride with Motorcycle Towing. If a project car is stuck in a soft yard, a Winch Out can pull it to a spot where we can load it.
Classic Cars in East Dallas
The historic districts near our base, like Swiss Avenue, Munger Place and Junius Heights, are full of old garages and classic cars. Many of these homes have narrow driveways, rear alleys and detached garages built long before modern trucks. We often use a winch and wheel dollies to bring a car out of an old garage to the street where the flatbed waits.
Fair Park also hosts car shows and big events. We can move show cars in and out on a set schedule.
What to Expect
- Call (972) 362-1607 and tell us if the car runs, rolls, steers and brakes.
- We plan the load and bring dollies or extra straps if needed.
- We walk around the car with you before loading.
- We drive with care and deliver the car to your drop-off.
Classic Car Towing Cost
Price depends on distance, whether the car rolls and steers, how hard the pickup spot is to reach and any extra gear. We quote before we roll. Texas towing companies are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Why Classic Cars Need a Flatbed
Older cars were not built for a two-wheel tow. Many have rear-wheel drive with old seals, drum brakes and parts that are hard to replace. Dragging the drive wheels can harm the transmission or rear end. Chrome bumpers and thin sheet metal can bend under a sling or hook. A flatbed avoids all of that by carrying the car on its tires.
How to Prepare a Classic for Transport
- Check the tires. Add air if the car has been stored.
- Set the parking brake only if it works and releases.
- Secure loose trim, hood ornaments and antennas.
- Tell us about fluid leaks so we can protect the deck.
- Take photos of the car before pickup.
Project Cars and Barn Finds
Many calls are for project cars that have not moved in years. Wheels may be seized, tires flat and brakes stuck. We bring wheel dollies, a strong winch and extra straps. If the car sits in grass or dirt, we may need a winch out first.
