Fast Help for a Dead Battery
A battery jump start sends power from a jump pack or truck to your car's battery so the engine can crank. We connect the cables in the right order, check the battery voltage and start the car. Then we let it run so the alternator can recharge the battery.

Signs of a Dead Battery
- The engine clicks but will not crank
- The dash lights are dim or flicker
- The car cranks slowly, then stops
- Nothing happens when you turn the key or push start
- The battery warning light is on
- The car sat for days or the lights were left on
After the Jump
Drive for at least 20 to 30 minutes to recharge the battery. If the car dies again soon, the battery or the alternator may be failing. Most auto parts stores can test both for free. If the car will not start even with a jump, the problem may be the starter or another part. We can tow it with Flatbed Towing or Emergency Towing.
Other Roadside Services
We also offer Car Lockout, Flat Tire Change, Gas Delivery and Winch Out service. EV owners with a dead 12 volt battery should read about EV Towing.
Dead Batteries in Dallas Heat
Heat is harder on car batteries than cold. Dallas summers often top 100 degrees, and the heat under the hood speeds up battery wear. Many batteries here last about three years. Cars parked in sunny lots or on top garage levels see the most failures. Cold snaps in winter then finish off weak batteries. If your battery is more than three years old, have it tested before summer.
