Fuel Delivered to Your Car
Gas delivery is a roadside service where we bring fuel to a car that ran dry. We pour a few gallons into your tank, help you start the car and point you to the nearest station. Walking along a highway shoulder with a gas can is not safe, so stay with your car and call.

Signs You Are Out of Gas
- The fuel gauge reads empty and the low fuel light is on
- The engine sputters, then shuts off
- The car cranks but will not start
- The trip computer shows zero miles to empty
After the Delivery
Fill up as soon as you can. Running a tank dry can pull dirt into the fuel system and strain the fuel pump. If the car will not start after we add fuel, it may need a Battery Jump Start or a tow with Flatbed Towing.
Other Roadside Services
We also offer Flat Tire Change, Car Lockout and Winch Out service. EVs that run out of charge need EV Towing to a charger.
Running Out of Gas in Dallas
Long waits in traffic on I-35E, I-30 and US-75 burn fuel fast, especially with the AC on high in summer. Some stretches of highway through downtown have few exits with gas stations close by. Moving trucks and work trucks also run dry often because their gauges can be hard to read. We bring regular unleaded gas for cars and light trucks. Tell us if your vehicle needs diesel.
What to Expect
- Call (972) 362-1607 with your location and fuel type.
- We bring fuel and add it to your tank.
- We help start the car and make sure it runs.
Gas Delivery Cost
Gas delivery cost depends on your location and the time of day, plus the fuel itself. We quote it on the phone.
Tips to Avoid Running Out of Gas
- Fill up at a quarter tank, not empty
- Plan fuel stops before long highway drives
- Watch fuel use in heavy traffic and summer heat
- Keep the low fuel warning in mind for moving trucks
Why Choose Dawson for Gas Delivery
We bring fuel to you so you do not have to walk along the road with a can. If the car still will not start, we can tow it.
